We offer 24/7 respite care, with hours determined by the Person-Centered Plan (PCP) and aligned with the care team’s agreement.

Staff Training Requirements

EverCare’s Respite Care staff meet strict qualifications to provide the highest level of care:

Checkmark At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.

Checkmark Successfully pass a criminal background check.

Checkmark Hold First Aid & CPR certifications and CMT (Certified Medication Technician) certification.

Checkmark Complete MANDT Certification for handling behavioral situations.

Checkmark Fulfill DDA training requirements, including specialized respite care training.

Checkmark Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, if transportation support is required.

Ongoing Training

Checkmark All respite care staff receive continuous training to stay updated on best practices and evolving care needs. This ensures we provide the highest quality of service to families and caregivers.
